BBC Microbit is a development board that will lead, from first use, to the confident encoder. It helps you choose the programming tool that's right for you, from block coding to text-based programming with Python. For primary school (7-11 years old) level; Complete, editable computing units and resources with cross-curricular links for arts, science, geography and more, curriculum content linked to UK KS2 and Code.org core CS Fundamentals, for Secondary (Age 11-14) level; With UK KS3, the curriculum of study units with downloadable, editable resources covering the fundamentals of computing from cybersecurity, cryptography and creative design projects awaits you on the Micro:bit official page.

BBC Microbit V1.5 has 25 LEDs in 5x5 array, 2 programmable buttons, light sensor, temperature sensor, 3-axis accelerometer and compass sensor for motion detection and bluetooth for wireless connection.
