The Bakon BK946L is a professional preheating station featuring high-power infrared quartz heating technology. It ensures homogeneous preheating of the PCB during the removal or re-soldering of SMD/BGA components—especially on multilayer PCBs, large-area circuit boards, and boards requiring repair. This helps reduce thermal stress on the board, prevents component damage, and delivers much more stable and safer results during the process.

The infrared quartz heating technology used in the device allows heat to be transferred to the board quickly and evenly. Thanks to its advanced special IC structure, temperature deviations that may occur between 100°C and 380°C are kept under control. The built-in temperature sensor reads temperature values in real time and displays them on the LCD screen, ensuring maximum precision during operation.

The large 300 × 300 mm platform surface is capable of supporting even large circuit boards. It can heat circuit boards partially or completely in a homogeneous manner. Its ESD-safe design provides a reliable working environment compatible with sensitive electronic components. With its powerful 1600 W output, it delivers fast heating and high-efficiency performance.
